{"id":4187,"date":"2025-12-09T11:03:26","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T10:03:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/?post_type=posizione-disponibil&#038;p=4187"},"modified":"2025-12-09T11:10:41","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T10:10:41","slug":"msca-position-dc4-processing-of-sicoi-stacks","status":"publish","type":"posizione-disponibil","link":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/it\/posizione-disponibil\/msca-position-dc4-processing-of-sicoi-stacks\/","title":{"rendered":"MSCA Position - DC4 Processing of SiCOI Stacks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>For more information and to apply please visit this link <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/euraxess.ec.europa.eu\/jobs\/392634\"><strong>https:\/\/euraxess.ec.europa.eu\/jobs\/392634<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Politecnico di Torino (PoliTO) - Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT) is seeking a highly motivated candidate for a fully-funded PhD position (36 months) focused on the Design of Laser Annealing process and system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This position is part of \"Silicon carbide photonic integrated circuit (SiCPIC),\" a prestigious European Doctoral Network project funded by the European Union\u2019s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme under the Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Action (MSCA), Grant Agreement No. 101227010.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>International Collaboration: The PhD candidate will join an international team of 15 doctoral students across five European countries, partnering with 5 universities and one company.<\/li>\n<li>Research Focus: All 15 PhD projects fall under the project theme of Silicon Carbide on Insulator (SiCOI) devices and integration for applications in classic and quantum optical telecommunication and optical sensing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This PhD project will take place at PoliTO; additionally, the position includes mandatory international planned secondment and comprehensive training:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>CNRS, Grenoble (FR) (4 months): Characterization of laser annealed amorphous SiCOI.<\/li>\n<li>FAU, Erlangen-Nuremberg (DE) (4 months): Characterization of laser annealed crystalline SiC.<\/li>\n<li>Training &amp; Networking: The student will participate in common meetings with the other 14 PhD students in the network, including three dedicated training schools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a participant in the SiCPIC project, the PhD student will become part of a team at PoliTO, in Chilab-ITEM laboratory, with expertise in design, fabrication and characterization of photonic devices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/euraxess.ec.europa.eu\/jobs\/392634\">\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","format":"standard","type-of-position":[34],"class_list":["post-4187","posizione-disponibil","type-posizione-disponibil","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","type-of-position-research-positions"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/it\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posizione-disponibil\/4187","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/it\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posizione-disponibil"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/it\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/posizione-disponibil"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/it\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4187"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"type-of-position","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/micronanotech.polito.it\/it\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/type-of-position?post=4187"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
